Violence Prevention 101 was created for instructor certification with Mean Girl Self Defense, but is also available to the public for purchase. The purpose of this curriculum is to instill a greater meaning and depth of understanding in the student in regards to violence prevention by the way of gaining knowledge in the areas of domestic violence education, human trafficking awareness, what it means to be "trauma informed," the basics of criminology, and the study of books such as "The Gift of Fear" by Gavin De Becker and "On Combat" by Dave Grossman. This Course is Mandatory; All instructors must take this course in order to be certified with Mean Girl Self Defense.
